GUIDED HUNTS FOR WOMEN HUNTERS

Whether you’re champing at the bit to go hunting for the first time or have a mildly curious attitude towards it, taking the first steps towards actually going into the field and doing it can be a challenging thing.

That’s why we’re here!  We want to help as many first-time women hunters get out there as we can and have a positive introduction to the incredible adventures that a lifetime of hunting can bring you.

At Timber to Table, one of our main goals is to educate, support and ultimately empower women hunters or any first-time hunter, so that you’ll want to go hunting for the rest of your life, with or without a guide, on public land.  A public land (especially wilderness!) elk hunt is where the true challenge of elk hunting really exists.  We want to facilitate a lifelong relationship with not just the animals you hunt but also the vital public lands that sustain those populations.

At the end of your time with us, we hope to have given you not only a great opportunity to put a year’s worth of meat in your freezer but also some field skills like tracking, identifying scat, interpreting animal behavior, how to move through the woods, how to field dress (or “gut”) your animal, quarter it up and get it processed, right down to the individual cuts of meat that you’d like in your freezer.

Do you want a family member (or two) to be there with you?  Not a problem.  In fact, having a loved one with you makes it all that more memorable. Give us a call so we can answer any questions or discuss any concerns you have.

We just want you to get out there and get after it!
